Sky News host Rowan Dean says the scenes coming out of Paris have been “repulsive”.

“Not only riots, there’s garbage piled up in the streets – one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and it’s just heartbreaking,” Mr Dean said.

Protesters in Paris have been gathering for days to rally against pension reforms.

The government raised the retirement age from 62 to 64.
